Pixel 8a Revealed Despite Not Being Launched Yet

Google introduced the Pixel 7a in May 2023. Many leaked sources suggest that it will be another 4 months before the company unveils the Pixel 8a. Recently, in a Facebook group focused on Pixel devices in Vietnam, a user shared initial images of the Pixel 8a’s packaging.
According to the shared information, the box has a relatively simple design. The front displays an image of the phone with the highlight being the horizontally arranged camera system. Above it is the Google logo and the Pixel 8a label.
According to GSMArena, the Pixel 8a will have a smaller size compared to its predecessor. The latest leaked images also indicate that the corners of the device will be uniformly curved, instead of being squared as before.
It is likely that the Pixel 8a will maintain a 6.1-inch screen size with a 90Hz refresh rate. However, Google might upgrade the display panel to achieve higher brightness.
The device will also be equipped with the Tensor G3 processor but may have reduced clock speeds to lower costs. The official unveiling of the device is expected to take place at the Google I/O event in May.
Previously, various Google products have leaked, and in some cases, they were even offered for sale online before the official launch. In May 2022, a prototype of a Pixel 7 unexpectedly appeared for sale on eBay. More recently, in March 2022, the Pixel 7a also surfaced in Vietnam, although it had not been officially launched yet.
